Overview

Seeking an experienced consultant to assess, design, and implement technology solutions that improve reporting, data consolidation, and workflow tracking within a complex policy and financial analysis environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and recommend suitable solutions using Power BI, Power Query, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, or Python.
- Design and implement automated processes to consolidate data from a large number of Excel workbooks.
- Build interactive dashboards, reporting tools, and budget impact summaries.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, exception reporting, and quality controls.
- Develop a workflow tracking solution to manage requests, approvals, deadlines, and analyst workloads.
- Create role-based access controls and customised user views.
- Present solution options, costs, benefits, and implementation recommendations to stakeholders.
- Deliver documentation, testing, and user training.

Essential Skills

- Strong experience with Power BI, Power Query, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Apps, and Power Automate.




- Experience automating Excel-based reporting and data consolidation processes.
- Robust data modelling, dashboarding, and business intelligence skills.
- Experience implementing workflow tracking or case management solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and business analysis capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Desirable Skills

- Python scripting and automation.
- SQL and data integration experience.
- Financial reporting, budgeting, or government-sector experience.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
