Guide Dogs Victoria | Kew | Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

Connect communities. Bring campaigns to life. Make a difference.

About Us

For nearly 70 years, Guide Dogs Victoria has been changing lives through extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs, alongside specialist services that build confidence, independence and connection.

Today, we’re building on that expertise to support more people in more ways, including people living with blindness, low vision, disability, PTSD and other complex needs.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Community and Campaign Manager brings Guide Dogs Victoria’s brand and purpose to life through creative campaigns, community engagement and activations that build awareness, strengthen relationships and encourage participation.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team, Events Manager and teams across the organisation, you’ll help conceptualise events and community initiatives, and develop and deliver integrated campaigns that drive awareness, registrations, ticket sales and participation.

You’ll also identify opportunities to build meaningful relationships with community organisations, advocacy groups and strategic partners to extend our brand’s reach and impact.

This is a hands-on role for a creative and collaborative marketer who combines strategic thinking with solid digital marketing skills, engaging storytelling and the ability to turn ideas into well-executed campaigns that deliver measurable results.

About You

Creative Thinking: You can translate ideas and organisational priorities into engaging campaigns,

community initiatives and experiences.

Digital Marketing: You have experience developing and optimising targeted digital campaigns that build awareness, drive engagement and convert audiences into participants.

Community Connections: You enjoy building relationships, connecting with people and identifying opportunities for meaningful collaboration.

Storytelling: You’re confident capturing authentic stories and creating engaging content, including hands-on interviewing, video filming and editing.

Hands-on Delivery: You’re proactive, organised and comfortable managing projects from concept through to delivery.

Passion for Purpose: You’re motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the community.

Key Skills & Experience You Will Bring

- Demonstrated experience in community engagement, campaign management, digital marketing, brand activations or a related discipline.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social media, email, paid media and community channels.
- Strong creative, communication and content creation skills, including video production and editing for digital and social media.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across internal teams, community organisations and external partners.

- Strong project management skills, including managing briefs, timelines, budgets, suppliers and competing priorities.
- Ability to use audience insights, segmentation and campaign performance data to improve engagement, registrations, ticket sales and conversions.
- A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach, balancing creative thinking with practical delivery.
- An understanding of accessibility and inclusive communications.

Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, health or community services sector, and familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation, will be highly regarded.
