Senior Mobile SDK Developer | 12-Month Contract | Sydney

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile SDK Developer to join a global cyber security product company for an

initial 12-month contract.

This is not your typical mobile app/UI development role. You’ll be working at the SDK and platform level,

building and evolving production libraries and frameworks embedded within customer applications across Android and iOS.

You’ll get hands-on with complex engineering challenges around:

- Mobile SDK and library development
- Android and iOS platform behaviour
- Memory management, object lifecycles and resource cleanup
- Concurrency, multithreading and thread safety
- Performance, networking and interoperability
- Backward compatibility across OS versions
- Debugging difficult, sometimes poorly documented platform behaviour
- Automated testing, CI/CD and code quality

What we’re looking for:

- 5+ years’ professional software development experience
- Expert-level skills in at least one of Java, C or C++
- Strong systems-level engineering and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of memory/resource management and multithreaded programming
- Strong debugging and profiling capability
- Mobile SDK, framework or library experience is highly regarded




- Android experience with Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, NDK/JNI, Gradle or Android Studio, and/or iOS experience with Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK or Xcode would be valuable

You don’t need to know every language or platform from day one. Deep engineering fundamentals, curiosity

and the ability to learn across platforms are more important.
