We’ve partnered with a well-established national builder that has been delivering commercial projects across Australia for over 50 years. Known for handling complex commercial and retail builds up to $100M, they have a steady pipeline of work with repeat blue-chip clients and a secure, experienced team.

The Role

Based in Richmond, you’ll take the lead on high-value, complex tenders from initial review through to award. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will run your own bids, identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities, and help mentor junior estimators across the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Run end-to-end tenders for major commercial and retail packages up to $100M.

- Produce detailed first-principles estimates, scopes of work, and trade packages.

- Review subcontractor quotes and lead scope clarifications.

- Identify value-engineering options and project risks to protect margins.

- Provide technical guidance and day-to-day mentoring to junior team members.

- Lead handover meetings with the project delivery team once tenders are won.
