- /n Senior IBM ODM & BAW Developer

/n Role Purpose

/n The Senior IBM ODM & BAW Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing,

/n and implementing business process workflows and business rules using IBM Business

/n Automation Workflow (BAW) and IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). The role

/n works closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and delivery

/n teams to automate business processes, implement decision services, and support end-to-end

/n solution delivery.

/n Key Responsibilities

/n IBM BAW Development

/n  Design, develop, configure, and deploy business process workflows using IBM

/n Business Automation Workflow (BAW).

/n  Develop process applications, services, coaches, integrations, and user interfaces to

/n support business requirements.

/n  Configure workflow orchestration, task management, escalations, notifications, and

/n business events.

/n  Integrate BAW solutions with internal and external systems using APIs, web services,

/n and messaging frameworks.

/n  Troubleshoot and resolve workflow performance, deployment, and integration issues.

/n IBM ODM Development

/n  Design, develop, and maintain business rules and decision services using IBM

/n Operational Decision Manager (ODM).

/n  Translate business policies and regulatory requirements into executable business

/n rules.

/n  Manage rule sets, decision tables, rule flows, and rule governance processes.

/n  Support versioning, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of business rules.

/n  Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate decision logic and rule outcomes.

/n Solution Delivery





/n  Participate in requirements workshops and technical design sessions.

/n  Produce technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation

/n documentation.

/n  Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and

/n production deployments.

/n  Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best

/n practices.

/n  Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and release management activities.

/n Stakeholder Collaboration

/n  Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand business

/n processes and decision requirements.

/n  Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture

/n standards.

/n  Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and project team

/n members.

/n  Support business users during testing and post-implementation activities. /n OFFICIAL /n Essential Skills & Experience

/n  7+ years of software development experience, including significant experience with

/n IBM BAW/BPM and IBM ODM.

/n  Solid experience designing and implementing complex workflow solutions using

/n IBM BAW.

/n  Strong experience developing decision services and business rules using IBM ODM.





/n  Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, MQ,

/n JMS, and other integration technologies.

/n  Strong understanding of BPM, workflow orchestration, case management, and

/n business rule management concepts.

/n  Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, JSON, and related technologies.

/n  Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

/n  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

/n Desirable Skills

/n  Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation.

/n  Experience with government, regulatory, licensing, compliance, or customer service

/n platforms.

/n  Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.

/n  Knowledge of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven integration

/n patterns.

/n  Understanding of business process modelling using BPMN.

/n Qualifications

/n  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or

/n related discipline.

/n  IBM BAW/BPM and/or IBM ODM certifications desirable.

/n  Relevant enterprise application development certifications will be highly regarded.
