We’re looking for someone who gets excited about technology, understands the commercial side of delivering major ICT services and loves figuring out how to get better value from suppliers and contracts.

Someone who doesn't just follow a procurement process but is curious about what's happening in the technology market, asks clever questions and isn't afraid to challenge the way things have always been done.

Our client is a major organisation with a complex and evolving technology landscape, and they're looking for a Senior ICT Category & Contracts Specialist who can bring fresh thinking, strong commercial instincts and genuine enthusiasm to their team.

The opportunity

You'll be working across a significant ICT portfolio, with a particular focus on managed services agreements and large-scale technology project services.

This is a role where your understanding of the technology market really matters. You'll need to know what's happening across the industry, understand how technology services are delivered and be able to turn that knowledge into smarter commercial decisions.

You'll work closely with ICT leaders, project teams and suppliers, helping shape category strategies, negotiate complex agreements and ensure the organisation is getting the right services, commercial outcomes and long-term value.

What will you be getting involved in?

- Leading strategic sourcing, category management and commercial negotiations across major ICT services.
- Managing complex, high-value managed services contracts and technology project services agreements.
- Bringing market intelligence, supplier insights and emerging technology trends into commercial decisions.




- Working with ICT leaders to challenge requirements, explore options and develop smarter sourcing strategies.
- Managing supplier relationships, performance, contract risks and commercial obligations.
- Finding opportunities to improve value, drive innovation and strengthen how technology services are delivered.

We're looking for someone who brings more than robust procurement and contract management experience. You'll understand the ICT world. You've worked with complex technology contracts, particularly managed services and large technology projects, and understand the challenges that come with them.

You're commercially switched on. You know how to negotiate, manage risk, challenge costs and structure agreements that deliver real value.

You're curious about the market. You keep an eye on technology trends, supplier capabilities and what's changing across the industry. You enjoy using that knowledge to influence decisions.

You're confident with people. You can build relationships with technical teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers, ask the difficult questions and bring people along with your thinking.

And importantly, you bring energy and enthusiasm. You're someone who enjoys getting involved, thinking differently and making things happen rather than getting caught up in process for the sake of process.
