We are partnering with a large ASX-listed business (non-financial services) looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team.

This is a broad role for someone who enjoys understanding how a business works and using data to deliver better audit outcomes. You will gain end-to-end audit exposure with an opportunity to apply data analytics, automation and visualisation.

Key responsibilities will include

- Lead risk-based internal audits across the full lifecycle from planning and scoping through to reporting and follow-up
- Review controls, governance and risk management across operational, financial and corporate functions
- Use data analytics and automation to improve audit coverage, testing and business insight
- Use tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Alteryx or similar tools to build dashboards, automate testing and analyse complex datasets
- Develop risk and control matrices, process maps and clear audit documentation
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, provide practical recommendations and constructively challenge where needed
- Contribute to the continued development of the Internal Audit function, methodology and analytics capability

About you:
- Experience in internal audit or controls advisory across Big 4 consulting or a corporate environment




- Practical experience with data analytics, automation or visualisation tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate or Alteryx
- Strong business judgement and the ability to understand processes quickly
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and challenge appropriately
- Strong written communication and the ability to turn audit findings into explicit, useful business recommendations
- Experience in a complex operating environment such as resources, manufacturing, construction, utilities, logistics or FMCG would be advantageous
- Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA or CISA are viewed favourably
