Your New Role

We are on the hunt for a passionate, experienced and service focused Senior Maintenance Officer to help support our team of service professionals at our beautiful HOME Docklands to deliver exceptional handyperson services to our community of residents.

You will work on-site, Monday to Friday, in our premium building located in Docklands, to provide hands-on leadership and support to the Maintenance Officers and provide high-quality repairs and maintenance for our resident community.

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will work in partnership with the Resident Experience team to ensure the building is well maintained and that the resident handy work requests are attended to with care. Overseeing the team of Maintenance Officers,



you will be the first point of escalation for all unresolved maintenance issues and will be responsible for coordinating the Maintenance Officer's workstreams to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standard. You will also be responsible for cyclical inspections and administrative tasks including purchase orders and lodging whitegoods warranties.

You will also be an onsite point of contact for all contractors.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum 4+ years experience in a general maintenance role. Hotel, Aged Care or other accommodation experience would be advantageous. Experience with administrative tasks will be highly regarded.

You will have exceptional interpersonal communication skills paired with excellent time management and the ability to work unsupervised. Your level of customer service along with service resolution skills shine and you’re a team player.
