Service Desk Engineer | Rooty Hill | 2-3 Month Contract/n Your current company /n Our client is a well-established hospitality organisation based in Rooty Hill, known for delivering exceptional customer experiences across its venues. They are seeking a Service Desk Engineer to join their IT team on a short-term contract and provide hands-on technical support to end users in a fast-paced environment. Your new role /n As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for IT support, providing Level 1 and Level 2 assistance across the business.
Your responsibilities will include handling service desk tickets, supporting users via phone and walk-ups, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing Active Directory accounts, and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies. You will also assist with POS/EFTPOS-related issues where required.
What you'll need to succeed /n /n
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support role.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
/n
- Experience providing Level 1/2 technical support in a corporate environment.
/n
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory user administration.
/n
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and Windows environments.
/n
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and end-user issues efficiently.
/n
- Exposure to POS/EFTPOS systems or hospitality environments is advantageous but not essential.
/n
- Availability to work onsite in Rooty Hill for the duration of the contract.
