Your New Role
As the Service Lead - Public Waste & Cleansing, you will provide leadership and direction across a broad portfolio of waste and cleansing services. You will oversee contractor performance, drive operational improvements, manage customer service outcomes, and ensure the delivery of safe, productive, and compliant services across public spaces.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading contract management and procurement activities.
- Managing contractor performance and service delivery against KPIs.
- Investigating and resolving customer requests, enquiries and complaints.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Leading stakeholder engagement across internal and external groups.
- Overseeing WHS compliance, governance requirements and operational risk management.
- Supporting technology improvements,
system implementation and service optimisation projects.
- Managing budgets and contributing to strategic business planning.
What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience managing waste, cleansing, facilities, property, environmental or operational service contracts.
- Strong contract management and project delivery experience.
- Proven leadership and people management capability.
- Experience driving business improvement and organisational change.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
