About the role

Based in Brisbane, this role involves travelling to client sites across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and surrounding areas. You will coordinate and complete accurate site measurements for fire doors and flush-panel doors using the latest electronic measuring technology. As part of a professional team, you will help deliver compliant, high-quality work across commercial, residential and building-services environments.

Key responsibilities

- Assess each installation task to confirm that the proposed door and installation method are suitable and fit for purpose.
- Complete accurate on-site door measurements using electronic measuring equipment.
- Plan and coordinate site-measurement work across multiple locations, liaising with site staff and project teams.
- Support the project management team with site visits, task coordination and workload planning.
- Record additional job details, measurements, photos, and completed works using a phone, tablet, or job management system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area on all sites.
- Communicate professionally with clients, builders, building managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements, site procedures, and company policies.





About you

- Experience in construction industry
- Good computer skills to be able to use touch screen technology for measuring, host program management to complete the task and computer program such as word, excel and outlook.
- Ability to complete accurate site measures and follow clear job instructions.
- Current driver license and willingness to travel to sites as required.
- White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Positive attention to detail and a robust commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, well-presented, and focused.
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet for job records, photos, and reporting.
