Your new roleAs a Public Practice Accountant, you'll manage a portfolio of SME clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services. Working closely with business owners, you'll build trusted relationships, provide practical solutions and help clients achieve their financial goals.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
- Providing advice across BAS, GST, FBT, CGT and Division 7A matters
- Developing strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Managing workflow, deadlines and work-in-progress effectively
- Liaising directly with clients to deliver practical and commercially focused solutions
- Collaborating with a close-knit team to achieve positive outcomes for clients




- Identifying opportunities to add value and support business growth

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:

- 5+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice Accounting
- Strong taxation and business services accounting knowledge
- Experience managing SME clients and building client relationships
- CA or CPA qualification, or working towards completion
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience using Xero and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and desire to grow your career
