Play a key role in protecting and enhancing Kangaroo Island's unique landscapes by partnering with landholders and communities to deliver sustainable land management outcomes.

This is a wide-ranging and rewarding role that combines community engagement, environmental stewardship, project delivery and regulatory responsibilities. As a Sustainable Landscape Officer, you will provide practical land management advice and education to landholders and community groups, with a focus on pest plant and animal control and water resource management.

You will support the development of sustainable land management strategies, helping the community to understand and meet their legislative responsibilities while achieving positive outcomes for their properties and the broader landscape.

As an authorised officer under the Landscape South Australia Act 2019, you will undertake compliance activities relating to pest plants, pest animals and water affecting activities. The role also contributes to policy implementation and planning, ensuring key priorities are achieved within established timeframes.
