Allocations & Operations Coordinator

About the Role
Versatile is looking for an organized, energetic and proactive Allocations & Operations Coordinator to join our Sydney team. It’s a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in labour hire and workforce operations.
Working alongside our experienced Allocator, you’ll help coordinate our workforce across multiple construction sites and warehousing roles.
It’s a busy, hands-on role where priorities change quickly, and you’ll be talking with workers, supervisors and clients every day.
Office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, with occasional flexibility needed for after-hours or weekend requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Workforce Allocations & Rostering

- Assisting with daily workforce allocations and rostering.
- Experience in, or willingness to learn, day-to-day workforce planning and scheduling.

Worker Onboarding & Compliance

- Assisting with onboarding using internal systems and programs.
- Following up outstanding compliance requirements and keeping employee records accurate.

Timesheets & Payroll Support

- Assisting with timesheet processing and payroll data entry.
- Making sure employee hours and pay information are recorded accurately.

Administration

- Assisting with invoicing enquiries from sites and clients.




- General admin support and ad hoc duties as required.

About You
You don’t need previous labour hire experience. We’re after someone with the right attitude who is organized, confident, reliable and keen to learn. Ideally, you’ll have:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and a friendly, skilled phone manner.
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay calm with last-minute changes.
- A proactive approach, not waiting to be told what to do.
- Valuable Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Experience in admin, recruitment, labour hire, construction, rostering or customer service is a bonus, but not essential.
