The Practice:
This established, multi-award-winning studio has been delivering thoughtful, people-focused architecture for more than two decades. Its work spans education, healthcare, community, civic and sports projects, where good design makes a measurable difference to the people who use it.

Sustainability is at the core of the practice. It designs buildings that perform in design quality, energy use and ecological respect, and it holds its own operations to the same standard. The studio has a collaborative, collegiate culture where staff wellbeing is a priority, and its diverse team works closely with clients, consultants, builders and end users to create places that connect people to their communities and environment.

The Opportunity:
The practice is growing and is looking for a mid-level Architect to join its Melbourne studio. You’ll work across a varied portfolio of education, community, healthcare and sports projects, and you’ll take real ownership of your work from early design through to delivery.

Your role will include:

- Contributing to design development and presentations
- Preparing design and construction documentation, including detailing
- Coordinating consultant teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting projects through the construction phase
- Working alongside, and learning directly from the directors

This role suits someone who wants more responsibility and a clear path to project leadership in a practice that will invest in their growth.

To be Successful:

You’ll be a self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be asked, and you’ll have the ambition to build a career in architecture. You’ll actively seek mentoring and feedback, and you’ll be keen to keep developing your technical and leadership skills.

You’ll also bring:

- A degree in Architecture, and ideally be registered, or working towards it
- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience, ideally on public, education or community projects
- Strong Revit skills
- Solid documentation and detailing experience
- A passion for design and sustainable architecture
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- A positive, proactive and professional approach, with the flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team

The Perks:

- Structured mentoring from respected Melbourne architects and directors
- Wide-ranging, meaningful public and community projects that make a real impact
- A clear pathway to greater responsibility and project leadership
- A collaborative, supportive studio culture with a genuine focus on wellbeing
- The chance to work in a practice committed to sustainability in what it designs and how it operates
- Convenient inner-Melbourne location
