We’re partnering with three well-established, WA-owned electrical contractors that are all growing. Each needs experienced residential electricians who take pride in their work and want to run their own jobs, without being micromanaged.
They’re different businesses, from a fast-growing local contractor to one of Perth’s best-known home services brands. That means we can match you to the right fit for your experience, location and the way you like to work. We cover north and south of the river, from Two Rocks to Mandurah.
What’s on offer
Packages vary by business and experience, and include:
- $59–$65/hr base, with more for highly experienced or split-system-ticketed electricians
- Uncapped commission on upsells and extra works
- Paid overtime and penalty rates
- A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000
- A new company vehicle, with take-home options, plus an iPad or phone
- Paid split-system training (Cert II) at no cost to you
- Monday to Friday hours, around 7:30am–4pm
- Clear progression to leading hand, supervisor and quoting roles
- Supportive teams, regular social events and a real focus on culture and wellbeing
- Earning potential of $150K+ with overtime and commissions
The work
- Switchboard upgrades, lighting and power
- EV chargers, data, TV and communications
- Split-system air conditioning
- Renovations, additions and new homes
- Fault finding and maintenance
- Some shop fit-outs and light commercial work
- Dealing directly with homeowners and builders, and mentoring apprentices
What you’ll need
- Current WA Electrical Licence (A-Grade)
- Driver’s licence and White Card
- Residential or domestic experience. You must want residential work.
- Good fault-finding skills
- Confidence working on your own and with customers
- Your own basic hand tools
- Reliable, qualified and proud of neat, compliant work
- Split-system ticket highly regarded, but they’ll train the right person
