About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Storeperson to join our team at our Mareeba QLD facility on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a hands-on warehouse and storage role that plays a vital part in ensuring our operations run smoothly. As Storeperson, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching stock, and maintaining a secure and organised storage environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in this position.

Key responsibilities

- Receive, unload and check incoming stock for accuracy and condition
- Organise and store products in the warehouse using appropriate storage methods and systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Identify and report stock discrepancies or damaged goods promptly
- Assist with general maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities




- Support other team members as required to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Serve customers during high demand periods

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a warehouse, storage or similar environment
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items regularly
- Commitment to health and safety practices and procedures
- Basic numeracy skills for inventory management and stock counting
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- Experience with inventory management systems or warehouse software is desirable
