About the opportunity Advanced Mining Production Systems (AMPS) is seeking a Systems Accountant with strong Power BI capabilities to improve how we connect data, report performance and support business decisions.

Combining financial understanding with technical expertise, you will develop reporting solutions that give stakeholders clear, reliable insights. You will also contribute to our broader finance transformation by streamlining workflows, reducing manual processes and strengthening reporting governance.

What you’ll do

- Design, develop and maintain a standardised suite of Power BI dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into reporting requirements and technical specifications.
- Validate data and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows, reduce manual data entry and introduce automated controls.
- Publish and maintain approved reports, supported by clear technical documentation,



data definitions and user guides.
- Train and support business users to build confidence in reporting tools and encourage adoption.
- Drive ongoing improvements across finance systems, reporting and analytics.

You will bring

- Experience working with Power BI and MYOB, including developing dashboards and reports.
- Strong technical skills in data modelling, with the ability to create accurate, scalable and visually transparent reporting solutions.
- An understanding of financial processes, reporting governance and controls.
- Technical capability with AI platforms and an interest in their practical application.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach, high professional standards and a commitment to confidentiality and AMPS’ values.

CPA or CA qualifications and experience with MYOB Acumatica will be highly regarded. Why this role?
