About the Role

TASCO Carriers is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our Mildura Depot Team.

This is a full-time position operating heavy vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver petroleum products to our customers across rural and metropolitan areas.

- Full Time position - minimum 70 hours per fortnight

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely load, transport and deliver petroleum products.
- Operate rigid, articulated and B-Double/A-Double vehicles as required.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Complete all required delivery, vehicle and safety documentation.
- Maintain vehicles, equipment and company assets to a high standard.
- Comply with all Dangerous Goods, fatigue management, road transport and company safety requirements.
- Report vehicle faults, incidents and hazards promptly.

About you:





- Experience heavy vehicle driver with a minimum of 2 years' articulated driving experience.
- Previous rural distribution experience, preferably within the petroleum industry.
- Strong understanding of Dangerous Goods and safe heavy vehicle operations.
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to compliance.
- Good communication, customer service and documentation skills.
- Reliable, qualified and able to work independently.

Essential Requirements:

- Current HC Drivers Licence.
- Current Dangerous Goods Licence, or willing to obtain.
- Current forklift licence, or willing to obtain.
- Satisfactory medical and driver history checks.
- National Police Check
- Ability to work day and night shift.

Additional Information:

- Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of travel time from the depot location.
- Annual Commercial Driver Medicals required.
- Mandatory Drug & Alcohol testing undertaken
- Agree to be employed under our EBA
- Employed under the TASCO Carriers Bulk Tanker Operations Agreement 2024
