Profectus is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support integration and data migration for a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers technical requirements analysis, integration analysis, data mapping and migration to an enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake technical and business analysis for an Angular-based web application and its integrations
- Analyse and document integrations with authoritative data sources
- Define technical and data requirements for data integration services and migration to an enterprise data platform
- Document data mappings and transformation rules
- Work with Data Engineers on data modelling and data quality requirements
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories
- Assess the impact of proposed changes across the application stack
- Support quality assurance and acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain documentation and transfer knowledge to government staff

Required Experience
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst on enterprise web applications
- Experience analysing and documenting APIs, interfaces and system integrations




- Experience producing data mappings and transformation rules for data migration
- Working knowledge of SQL and data structures
- Experience working on Angular-based enterprise web applications
- Experience writing technical specifications and user stories in agile teams
- Experience working within Defence or another Australian Government agency

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the Defence Secret workplace or other classified environments
- Experience with data migration to enterprise data platforms, including the Defence One Defence Data platform
- Experience with data modelling
- IIBA certification such as CBAP or CCBA
- Experience with Jira and Confluence

Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
