About the Role In this hands-on role, you will assist with a range of workshop duties to support our tradespeople in their day-to-day tasks. Working under direction, you’ll help ensure jobs are completed efficiently by preparing materials, handling components, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This is a great prospect to gain exposure to a busy workshop environment and build practical skills.

Job Task and Responsibilities

- Operate sandblasting equipment and prepare components for repair and coating processes





- Prepare, handle, and move materials and components

- Operate workshop equipment (including forklifts/cranes where licensed)

- Assist with loading/unloading and manual handling

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

- Follow all company Quality and Safety procedures

Skills and Experience

- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift and/or Overhead Crane (essential)

- Previous Trades Assistant experience (desirable)

- Knowledge of blasting equipment operation, maintenance and cleaning (desirable)

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team

- Commitment to safety and quality standards

- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

- Strong work ethic and flexible attitude

- Ability to work unsupervised when required
