About the Role:

Based at Canberra Hospital with occasional days at North Canberra Hospital, you'll join a highly skilled team providing care across inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by state-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation and electrophysiology laboratories and modern GE and Philips echocardiography machines. Working alongside experienced Cardiac Sonographers, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of cardiac ultrasound services, including echocardiography, stress echo, advanced imaging and structural heart procedures.

This is a unique opportunity to undertake an accredited Cardiac Sonography training program while earning and learning. Through structured education, clinical supervision and hands-on experience,

you'll develop the skills required to perform routine and complex echocardiography studies across a diverse patient population. You'll also contribute to education, research, quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary patient care within a collaborative and innovative environment.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and a patient-focused approach. This prospect is ideal for trainees, students part-way through their formal ultrasound studies, or candidates seeking to build their experience in a supportive clinical environment. If you have a strong interest in cardiac care, diagnostic imaging, and thrive in a team environment while demonstrating professionalism and compassion, we'd love to hear from you.

Join us and help shape the future of cardiac care across the ACT and surrounding region.
