About the role:

You will work across a broad range of professional liability and insurance litigation matters, including:

- Defending professional negligence and indemnity claims involving lawyers, barristers, financial advisers, real estate professionals, engineers and architects.
- Acting for insurers and insured professionals in complex, sensitive and high-value disputes.
- Advising on professional liability, insurance coverage and policy interpretation.
- Managing claims involving alleged breaches of professional duties and negligence.
- Assisting with complex litigation, including multi-party disputes and class actions.
- Working closely with Counsel, experts,



insurers and other key stakeholders to develop effective resolution strategies.
- Providing advice on risk management, claims prevention and dispute resolution.

The ideal candidate:

- 2–6 years' PQE, ideally gained within a reputable insurance litigation practice.
- Experience in defendant qualified indemnity, professional liability or broader insurance litigation.
- Strong technical litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, preparing advice and managing disputes.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, particularly when handling sensitive claims.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to develop practical and strategic solutions for clients.
- A genuine interest in specialising and progressing within professional liability insurance.
