Donovans is an iconic restaurant right on the beach of St Kilda offering guests a memorable dining experience in Melbourne. With a bay side view, beautiful Mediterranean inspired food and the special relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, Donovans is where you will feel at home

Privately owned and enjoying it’s 30th birthday in 2027, it has long been celebrated and identified with attentive, skilled and friendly service.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* An individual with a strong focus on service and knowledge in both food and beverage.

* Previous Management experience in a similar environment with an strong attention to detail.





* The want to work with a professional team in an iconic Melbourne restaurant

* Friendly, professional people.

* An individual to challenge themselves in a 300 strong award winning wine list.

* Hospitality Diploma and a minimum 2 years in a similar role and environment for experience.

* WSET and CMS training is desired but not essential.

THE ROLE: Manager

* Responsible for service and sales.

* Delivering exceptional customer service when acting in the role of the restaurant’s Supervisor.

* Maintaining the dining room to be an acceptable level at all times.

* Maintaining and exceeding guest expectations.

* Assisting the Owner with daily and weekly restaurant operations.

* To capably lead FOH staff members during service.

* Implementing and managing a roster of up to 35 staff

* Closing Procedures of the Restaurant
