SENIOR FLOOR MANAGER

Full time | $75,000 to $90,000 + Super | Cronulla | Rotating 4 and 5 day weeks

We're not looking for someone to manage a restaurant.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality. Someone who finds real satisfaction when a table of regulars feels at home, when service flows without friction, and when the floor and kitchen work as one team.

Pino's al Mare is a well-established Italian restaurant in Cronulla with a loyal community, a reputation for bespoke private dining and events, and owners who care deeply about their team and their guests. We do things properly, from the food to the table setting to how we answer the phone.

We're growing our leadership team and looking for a senior hospitality professional who wants to build a long-term future with us.

THE VENUE AT A GLANCE

- Up to 120 guests seated and 190 standing for functions

- A team of 14 local staff

- Everything bespoke: set menus, styling, flowers, signage and printed menus tailored to every event

- Trading Tuesday to Thursday dinner, Friday to Sunday lunch and dinner

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE

You will be present. On the floor, leading service and setting the standard every shift. You will also help make sure everything behind the scenes runs properly: rostering, training, supplier communication, systems and the day-to-day rhythm of the restaurant.

You will work closely with the owners, the management team and Cristiano (Head Chef), and be a big reason guests keep coming back.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager or Senior Floor Manager in a quality a la carte or private dining venue. Please do not apply if your background is fast food or high-volume chain hospitality.

- You lead by example, not by title.

- A warm,



professional floor presence that reflects Italian hospitality.

- Experience training and developing junior staff without micromanaging.

- Experience running private events and functions from enquiry to pack-down.

- A genuine understanding of Italian food and dining culture is a big advantage.

- RSA, full working rights in Australia, and immaculate presentation.

- Availability for weekend lunches and dinners.

WHO WE ARE

Pino's has been part of the Sydney food community since 2016. After starting in Alexandria, we have been trading in Cronulla since 2024. Nearly a decade of regulars, celebrations and tables that come back year after year doesn't happen by accident. The culture, the warmth of the room and the standard we hold ourselves to were built carefully, and they mean a great deal to us.

We want someone who is drawn to what we have built, not looking to rebuild it. If you see ways to sharpen how we do things, that conversation is always welcome. But first you will want to understand it deeply.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Rotating roster: 5 days on and 2 off, alternating with 4 days on and 3 off. A 3-day weekend every second week.

- $75,000 to $90,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
