About the role

The Curriculum Coordinator provides leadership within the Bath St. Campus for staff members and students in the sphere of teaching and learning. This Position of Responsibility builds on the Curriculum Coordinator's commitment as a teacher within Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic College and Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT). The Curriculum Coordinator is appointed by the Principal, reporting to the Head of Campus.

Key responsibilities

- Provide leadership within the Campus for staff members and students in the sphere of teaching and learning in the Curriculum through being a member of the Campus Executive;

- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to monitor growth in student learning and engagement;

- Assist with the implementation of the vision for teaching and learning in the College at a Campus level, inclusive of the CENT Pedagogical Framework and Instructional Model;

- Facilitate appropriate structures and processes which ensure that students and parents have access to a wide range of information to enable them to make appropriate decisions regarding their learning;

- Actively engage in leading the campus with CENT Learning & Teaching priorities;

- Be responsible for the development and coordination of assessment and reporting for the Campus;

- Monitor and oversee quality teaching and learning across the Campus;





- Facilitate data-informed team planning & programming with each year level at scheduled release times

- Coordinate staff curriculum meetings;

- Share in the teaching of a class

About you

- Have a commitment to uphold and contribute to the ethos of Catholic schools;

- Have demonstrated experience in leadership of an educational pedagogy in Literacy and/or Numeracy

- Understand the employer's requirements and act in accordance with Catholic Education and the College's policies, guidelines and procedures

- Have a background of appropriate qualified and personal strengths and skills to allow them to work effectively in this area, with willingness to undertake relevant courses of study or professional development as necessary

- Hold accreditation or be willing to obtain Accreditation C to Teach RE in a Catholic School upon appointment to the role

- Registration with Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board & Ochre Card
