About the role
This role consists of a 46 km haulage cycle on a private, closed-access haul road within the Kalgoorlie region. You will be driving a recent 700hp automatic Volvo (Tri-Drive Twin-Steer) towing quad trailers with a payload capacity of 200 tonnes. Sequential tipping is required from the rear trailer to the lead trailer at the ROM pad.
Key responsibilities
- Complete 5 loads per shift (baseline target) or 6 loads per shift (optimal target)
- Operate with high autonomy on site with minimal supervisory contact, typically on a weekly basis for stockpile destination assignments
- Maintain integrity by preventing wheel spin and gouging/digging
About you
- Must pass a practical loader assessment at the yard prior to mobilization
- Inexperienced but motivated candidates will be considered, provided they complete the pre-site training program
- A pre-mobilization refresher will be provided
