About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our team at Morph hair and beauty in Nedlands on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our salon where you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding hairdressing services to our clientele whilst also supporting and mentoring junior team members. As Senior Hairdresser, you will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for excellence and helping to drive the success of our salon through your technical expertise, client relationships and leadership.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality hairdressing services including cutting, styling, colouring and treatments to clients

- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

- Mentor and support junior stylists, providing guidance on technique, customer service and professional development

- Stay current with the latest hairdressing trends, techniques and products

- Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, safety and salon presentation

- Contribute to salon operations including stock management, appointment scheduling and client consultations

- Collaborate with the team to create a positive and professional working setting

- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

What we're looking for





- A minimum of 5+ years' experience as a qualified hairdresser with a proven track record of delivering excellent results

- Current qualification or certification in hairdressing recognised by industry standards

- Expertise in a range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for client care

- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members

- Experience in mentoring or training junior staff members preferred

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple client appointments

- Knowledge of current industry trends and techniques

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, professional attitude
