As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an important role in supporting our residents with their daily living needs while promoting their dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Supporting residents with mobility, transfers and daily activities.
- Assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional requirements.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment.
- Providing compassionate, person-centred care to residents.
- Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other care team members.
- Following individual care plans, infection control procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
About you
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care.
- Previous experience working in residential aged care is highly desirable.
- A current National Police Check.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing safe, respectful and person-centred care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon,
night and weekend shifts.
- Compliance with applicable vaccination and infection prevention requirements.
