About the role

We are looking to recruit a vehicle sales trainee that will learn the fundamentals of car sales and begin their career within the automotive industry. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities as a sales trainee will include:

Key responsibilities:

- Learn all aspects of the automotive industry and dealer management system

- Sell preowned vehicles

- Gain business from new and existing customers

- Understand customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes

- Provide top level customer service

- Maintain excellent knowledge about all vehicles and products as well as the overall presentation of vehicles

To be considered, applicants must have:

- Current manual driver's licence

- Proven ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and under pressure

- Great organising abilities





- Reliable and take pride in your work

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Excellent customer service skills

- Previous Customer Service experience with an ability to be inviting, vibrant and helpful in all clientele interactions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including some level of computer literacy

- Rights to work in Australia
