About the role

Vinnova Dental is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming and professional team in Thurgoona. This is more than just a front-desk position. You'll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience, supporting our dental team and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our practice.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism

- Managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiries

- Answering phone calls, responding to emails and coordinating bookings

- Processing payments, health fund claims and accounts

- Maintaining an organised and efficient appointment book

- Communicating effectively with patients, dentists and team members

- Supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice

- Assisting with sterilisation and chairside duties when required, with appropriate training

About you

- Previous dental reception experience, highly regarded

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

- Confidence managing a busy reception environment

- A friendly,



professional and positive attitude

- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills

- A proactive approach — someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done

- The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn practice management software

- Dental assisting and sterilisation experience would be a great advantage, but is not essential
