LEARNING READY BEHAVIOUR SERVICES
Waterloo
Join a compassionate, cooperative and highly supportive clinical team!
Learning Ready Behaviour Services is an NDIS-registered, neuro-affirming early childhood and therapeutic supports practice, supporting children, young people and their families across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and Inner West.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our small, highly skilled team of clinicians, working collaboratively to deliver meaningful, evidence-based supports to our community.
At Learning Ready, we believe that the best outcomes come from professionals working together, sharing knowledge, challenging their thinking, and learning from one another. Our team is grounded in the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with a strong commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and values-driven practice. Our team includes Certified Behaviour Analysts, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Therapy Assistants. Psychology has long been a valued part of our multidisciplinary approach, and we're looking forward to welcoming a new clinician who can bring their own expertise and perspective to this area of our practice.
About the Role
Our psychology services aim to improve the wellbeing, emotional health and adaptive functioning of our clients, while strengthening the support available to them within their families and wider communities.
Depending on your experience and areas of interest, your work may include:
- Delivering individual and family-based psychological assessment and intervention.
- Supporting children and young people with autism, developmental differences, emotional regulation challenges and other psychological or behavioural support needs.
- Working collaboratively with Behaviour Analysts, Behaviour Support Practitioners, families, educators and other professionals.
- Supporting the development of meaningful skills, emotional wellbeing, self-advocacy and independence.
- Providing consultation and guidance to caregivers and other members of a client's support network.
Why Join Learning Ready?
A genuinely supportive team. Join a close-knit group of compassionate, experienced and highly dedicated clinicians who value collaboration, open communication and support.
Learn from each other. Work alongside experienced behaviour analytic practitioners, with opportunities to broaden your clinical perspective, exchange knowledge and develop new skills across disciplines.
Contribute your expertise. We value the unique perspectives that psychology brings to our team. You'll have opportunities to share your knowledge, contribute to clinical discussions, and provide professional development to colleagues.
Flexible, hybrid working arrangements. Enjoy the opportunity to work across our Waterloo clinic, community settings and via Telehealth from your home, with flexibility to establish an arrangement that suits your availability and professional interests.
Meaningful, individualised care. Work with clients and families in a practice that prioritises safety, joy, autonomy and quality of life. Our approach is compassionate, neuro-affirming and grounded in contemporary evidence-based practice.
Professional autonomy with genuine connection.
Maintain your professional identity and clinical independence while enjoying the benefits of being part of a collaborative team.
