About the role

This isn't a desk job or a book of accounts to babysit. You'll build relationships with equipment suppliers, OEMs, fabricators and trade partners who come across compressed air every day but don't yet sell it. Then you'll make them self-sufficient: trained on our price book, confident with sizing, and ordering with a quick call for advice.

Key responsibilities

- Own the full sales cycle, from first contact through to quoting and closing the deal

- Hunt and sign new channel partners across NSW, focusing on industries we haven't yet tapped

- Train partner sales teams on our product range and price book

- Give technical sizing advice over the phone and on site

- Quote larger or more complex jobs yourself

- Take over and grow a portfolio of existing partner relationships

- Be our face in the field, building trust that keeps orders flowing

About you

- A track record of winning new business through your own hustle. Experience building reseller or dealer channels is a strong advantage, but not essential for the right person.

- Technical sales background in compressed air, pneumatics, pumps,



fittings or industrial equipment, or a strong mechanical aptitude

- Comfort talking FAD, pressure and duty cycle, or the drive to learn quick

- The patience to teach, and the drive to hunt

- A self-starter who doesn't need daily supervision

- A current driver's licence

About us

Focus Industrial is a third-generation, family-owned compressed air business, operating since 1976. We supply, install and service compressed air systems nationally, maintain over 2,000 compressors in the field, and are based in Jamisontown, Western Sydney. We're growing, and we need someone to take us into markets we haven't touched yet.
