About the role

You will deliver engaging, practical training that builds learners' confidence, workplace skills and readiness for future employment.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering training and conducting assessments within a correctional setting
- Adapting learning activities to suit different abilities and learning needs
- Maintaining accurate assessment evidence and student records
- Working collaboratively with TESS staff and correctional centre personnel
- Following centre security, safety and operational procedures

About you

- A recognised training and assessment qualification suitable for VET delivery
- Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills
- Strong communication skills, patience and a respectful approach
- The ability to engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability, flexibility and sound professional boundaries
- Willingness to complete required correctional centre screening and induction
- Previous experience in a correctional environment is desirable, but not essential
