Symons Clark Logistics is a proudly family-owned transport and logistics business based in Port Adelaide, with 140 years of experience delivering transport and logistics solutions across Australia. Our services include wharf cartage, container transport, warehousing, heavy haulage, project logistics and bulk haulage.

We're looking for an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, lead and support our drivers, and ensure freight moves safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating daily operations and finding practical ways to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the transport team, coordinating daily schedules, routes and driver allocations.
- Monitor driver safety, compliance, vehicle inspections and fleet maintenance.
- Manage operational issues and maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Monitor transport costs and performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in transport operations supervision or a similar leadership role, ideally with linehaul experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills,



with the ability to support and motivate a team.
- Valuable problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A practical approach to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
