We’re seeking a highly experienced, motivated and career-driven Transport Allocator who can step straight into this key role and make an immediate impact. Someone who knows the industry, thrives in a demanding operational environment and wants to be part of a successful, progressive team.

THE ROLE – PROVEN EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Based at our Hurstville Head Office, you will take ownership of daily transport allocations across our Truck & Dog bulk haulage and Hook Bin / Skip Bin operations.

Your responsibilities include

Allocating Truck & Dog fleets across quarry, civil construction, bulk haulage and recycling operations.

Coordinating Hook Bin / Skip Bin deliveries, collections and exchanges.

Managing drivers, fleet movements, customer bookings and changing daily requirements.

Maximising fleet productivity, utilisation and operational efficiency.

Coordinating day and night shift requirements and preparing allocations for the following day.

Ensuring transport operations comply with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) requirements, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, including fatigue management and safe scheduling.





Building positive working relationships with drivers, customers and management.

EXPERIENCE – NON-NEGOTIABLE

This is NOT an entry-level or training position.

Applicants must have proven, hands-on experience in heavy vehicle transport allocation, particularly Truck & Dog operations within quarry, civil construction, bulk haulage or waste/recycling.

You must demonstrate

Proven ability to independently manage a busy heavy vehicle fleet.

Strong understanding of Truck & Dog allocation, quarry movements and bulk haulage operations.

Working knowledge of NHVR compliance requirements, HVNL legislation and CoR obligations.

Experience managing driver fatigue, legal operating hours and compliant scheduling.

Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Confidence to make operational decisions under pressure.

A professional, proactive and commercially focused approach.

Hook Bin / Skip Bin allocation experience will be highly regarded.

We need someone who understands the industry, knows the compliance requirements and can deliver results from day one.

WORK LOCATION & OPERATIONAL COMMITMENT

This is a 100% on-site position based at our Hurstville Head Office. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are not available.





Our transport operations commence early and continue throughout the day. The Allocator must be available to manage driver movements, respond to operational requirements and ensure the following day’s allocations are finalised before finishing.

This is a demanding operational role requiring flexibility, commitment and an understanding of the hours involved in managing a busy transport fleet.

Applicants must carefully consider their daily travel time to Hurstville and their ability to consistently meet the operational hours required.
