About the role

Note -Hourly rate of pay dependent on Applicant skill-set.

We are seeking a mechanically minded and motivated individual to join our workshop team. This role involves maintaining and repairing our fleet of Amphiroll rollers, excavators, dozers and light vehicles, as well as carrying out mechanical and hydraulic work for external customers. The position would suit someone with hands-on mechanical experience, particularly in hydraulic hose assembly, who enjoys practical work, problem-solving and working as part of a team.

Potential for operating our equipment onsite on a relief basis.

Key responsibilities

- Manufacture, assemble and replace hydraulic hoses and fittings.
- Work with hydraulic hose systems, ideally using Gates products and equipment.
- Assist with servicing, maintenance and repairs on Amphiroll rollers, excavators, dozers and light vehicles.
- Carry out general mechanical repairs and workshop maintenance.
- Complete general workshop tasks, including technical odd jobs and equipment preparation.
- Support external customers with mechanical repairs, hydraulic hose work and general workshop requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
