Mamasan Broadbeach is the award-winning flagship of the Mamasan Restaurant Group, with a sister venue, BabyMama, in Nobby Beach. Mamasan is known for contemporary Asian dining, precision, pace and high-energy service. We're building our venues around great hospitality, outstanding cuisine and exceptional people.

THE ROLE

The wok section is the engine of our kitchen and in high-volume service it sets the pace. We're looking for an experienced wok chef to own this section.

You'll be responsible for:

- Running the wok section with speed, consistency and control
- Delivering our dishes to spec, every time, in high-volume service
- Managing wok prep, mise en place and section organisation
- Keeping your section clean, safe and compliant
- Training and supporting other chefs on the wok

WHAT YOU BRING

- Proven experience as a wok chef in a busy Asian kitchen




- Strong wok technique and control of heat, timing and seasoning
- Calm, consistent standards in a heavy service
- A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
- Pride in your craft and consistency
