Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join our team on a full-time basis at our Yanchep location. In this role, you will be responsible for the following;
· Engaging with children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development.
· Inspiring and supporting a team of educators to meet our quality principles of curriculum and documentation.
· Building and maintaining a team-oriented approach by being open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflective upon best practice.
· Bringing a friendly,
mature and professional approach to everything you do.
· Ensuring the centre provides a safe and welcoming space that children, educators and parents want to be in.
· Lead child-led, project-based learning experiences inspired by Reggio Emilia practices.
· Maintain a high focus on child safeguarding and wellbeing practices.
About You
· Experience of selling both conference and exhibition sponsorship
· A collaborative and team-oriented approach
· Excellent communication skills
· An ability to develop solid relationships with children and families
· A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
· ACECQA approved Diploma qualification
· Current Working with Children's Check Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain them
· Current Child Protection Training or willingness to undertake the course
Salary
If successful, you will be paid a base salary of approximately $79,423 per annum.
