Schedule: Sunday to Friday, Saturdays off. Shifts fall between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

About Us

We are a busy kitchen offering sushi, à la carte dining, catering, and meal service for local schools. We serve breakfast and lunch and are looking for a reliable, motivated cook to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items for à la carte service
- Prepare sushi
- Prepare food for catering orders and school meal programs, including portioning and packing
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards consistently
- Keep the kitchen, stations, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines
- Check ingredient quality, label and date products, and help with inventory and stock rotation
- Work with kitchen staff and front-of-house to get orders out accurately and on time




- Help with opening and closing duties as needed

Requirements

- At least 1 year of kitchen experience preferred (training provided)
- Willingness to learn sushi preparation, or prior sushi experience a plus
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume orders
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts
- Food handler’s card or willingness to obtain one
