If you’re a NSW Licensed Electrician and want to get into solar and batteries, build serious skills and work towards running your own crew, this could be your next move.

AG Solar is growing and we’re looking for switched-on electricians to join our in-house Solar & Battery Installation Team.

Already have solar experience? Great.

Newly licensed and keen to learn? We’ll train you.

The pathway is easy: Electrician → Solar & Battery Installer → Team Leader.

What you’ll get

- $55 per hour + Super + Travel Allowance depending on experience
- SAA Accreditatiion Course

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney and the Illawarra, including:

- Solar and battery installations
- Switchboard and electrical upgrades
- Inverters, monitoring and associated electrical equipment
- Testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Working safely on roofs and at heights




- Learning to plan and run installations
- Working directly with customers and your crew

We’re looking for

- Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence
- Australian driver’s licence
- Solid electrical fundamentals
- Reliable and good in a team
- Comfortable working at heights
- Good attitude and keen to learn
- Pride in doing quality work
- Good communication with customers and the crew

Solar or battery experience is a bonus — not a deal breaker.

Working at Heights accreditation is preferred.
