Description
About Us
Mobile Rehab delivers mobile allied health care directly into clients’ homes across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, dietetics, and massage therapy. Built on three decades of experience, mutual respect, versatile working, and peer support, we offer a contemporary workplace culture that values employee well-being as highly as client care.
The Opportunity
Step into a newly developed, dynamic, non-traditional allied health role that uses your clinical expertise operationally. Based in our Stafford office within the Client Services team, the role focuses on practical clinical support, triage, and funding navigation. This is an operational support role, not a management position. You will directly drive client outcomes by ensuring equipment, funding, and clinical workflows run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Liaison: Serve as the primary operational contact for NDIS Support Coordinators, Aged Care Managers, and external partners.
- Assistive Technology (AT) & Home Modification Triage: Review incoming AT/HM requests, quotes, and reports to ensure they meet clinical, client, and funder requirements.
- Client Communication:
Explain complex clinical recommendations, quotes, and funding processes clearly and empathetically to all stakeholders.
- Virtual Care: Deliver virtual OT consultations and support field clinicians on clinical logistics.
- Operational Problem Solving: Resolve complex client inquiries and streamline equipment/service workflows with composure and diplomacy.
About You
This role will suit an Occupational Therapist who wants to move away from home visits and apply their clinical skills operationally.
Skills & Attributes:
- Clinical Skill: Strong reasoning in equipment, home modifications, and community care pathways.
- Funding Knowledge: Confidence navigating Support at Home, NDIS, and DVA processes.
- Operational Drive: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling fast-paced admin and client workflows.
- Communication Excellence: Clear, empathetic communicator with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Post grad qualifications will be an advantage
- National Police Clearance & NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain).
