About the Opportunity
We are seeking an oil and gas industry professional with a strong background in the management and successful delivery of offshore engineering design and installation projects, including brownfield rig modification projects in Southeast Asia or the Middle East, to lead the delivery of ICON's international Rig Modifications projects.

You will be working on a variety of small to medium international brownfield offshore projects, primarily in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with a focus on modifications to drilling rigs. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your key focus will be working closely with your clients, partners and suppliers, to understand their needs and to drive the implementation of cost effective and practical solutions. This role involves international travel and time spent abroad as project needs require.

This role will provide you the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in the planning and execution of projects, to safely deliver profitable projects, on time, within budget, meeting targets and exceeding the customer's expectations. In addition, your accountabilities will include:

- Working autonomously to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.




- Ensure 100% compliance with ICON's site HSE requirements and manage compliance with client and partner HSE requirements in each jurisdiction.
- Achievement of KPIs on delivery on scope, schedule, cost and quality. Demonstrating dependability and ICON's capabilities in the execution of the work.
- Consistently achieving high customer satisfaction.
- Plan and deliver international brownfield rig modification projects from concept through to execution, working with rig owners, drilling contractors and operators.
- Establish and manage supply chains and partner relationships, including shipyards, fabricators, equipment suppliers and local partners, to deliver safe, cost-competitive outcomes.
- Work with high value engineering centres and ICON's Perth engineering team to define task assignments, ways of working, turnaround times and review processes, ensuring engineering deliverables meet ICON's quality standards.
- Lead, manage and support the development of the project team.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of operational/ project management system and processes.
- Actively contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities to leverage networks and relationships, including those with rig owners and partners, to maximise new and repeat business.
- Demonstrate innovative, continuous improvement approach with up-to-date market knowledge.

About You
You come with tertiary qualifications in the engineering field with at least 8+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Your experience spans across engineering,



offshore operations, offshore drilling, project management, international project delivery and client management.

Essential attributes you will bring to this position include:

- Demonstrated experience delivering brownfield offshore projects in Southeast Asia and/or the Middle East.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally and spend time abroad as project needs require.
- You are well versed in detailed engineering design, offshore industry design codes, standards and specifications.
- Proven capability of managing medium sized projects up to USD$3m in value, achieving project KPIs (i.e. schedule, cost, quality).
- Ability to lead, influence, motivate and drive project teams.
- You are an cutting-edge, strategic thinker with high commercial acumen.
- Experienced in cost estimating and tender/ proposal preparation with impressive strike rate in winning tender bids.
- Strong experience in effective project monitoring and auditing, ensuring its successful delivery.
- Robust management and leadership skills.
- You are a cooperative team member, regardless of level of the organisation.
- You are results focused, proactive in your approach.

Desirable experience includes:

- Demonstrated offshore site experience supervising personnel.
- Experience delivering work at international shipyards, particularly on drilling rigs.
- Experience working with high value engineering centres to deliver engineering deliverables, including managing scope, turnaround, review and quality.
- Familiarity with supply chains and partnerships in Southeast Asia and/or the Middle East, with experience working with local partners and suppliers to deliver projects.
