About Pickle Power Kids

Pickle Power Kids is Melbourne’s premier junior pickleball coaching organisation! We get kids moving, building confidence, and having fun on the court through after-school programs, holiday camps, and community events. We are high-energy, community-driven, and looking to take our digital presence to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing

- On-Court Content Capture: Attend coaching sessions, school programs, and events across Melbourne to capture authentic, high-energy photo and video content.
- Short-Form Video Production: Edit dynamic, fast-paced vertical videos anchored by strong hooks, trending audio, and engaging text overlays that appeal to parents and local families.
- Community Engagement: Manage comments and direct messages, spark conversations, and foster an active, supportive online community.
- Strategy & Execution: Help shape our social calendar, highlight milestone moments (tournaments, player progress, coach spotlights), and turn everyday coaching into scroll-stopping content.
- Metrics & Growth Analysis: Track, analyse, and report on key social metrics (engagement rate, reach, video watch time, and click-through rates). Use data insights to continuously iterate on content strategy and double down on what drives results.
- Conversion Optimisation: Connect social engagement to business goals - optimizing CTAs, tracking link-in-bio traffic,



and helping drive sign-ups for school programs, holiday camps, and events.

What We’re Looking For

- Content Portfolio: Proven experience producing high-performing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) with a strong sense of pacing, humor, and visual storytelling.
- Self-Starter & Nimble: Comfortable working in office at sports venues, interacting naturally with kids and coaches, and capturing raw, candid moments on the fly.
- Audience Understanding: An intuitive grasp of what motivates parents - celebrating child confidence, community pride, and engaging local activities.
- Compliance & Admin Requirements (Essential):
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Hold (or be willing to set up) your own Australian Business Number (ABN) as an independent contractor.
