Roles we are hiring now

Norwest Exploration Pty Ltd is seeking experienced geologists at all levels for full time positions servicing active exploration and mining programs across Western Australia on FIFO and DIDO rosters from Perth:

Exploration Geologist hands-on field geology across multiple commodities and drilling programs, including logging, sampling, QA/QC, sample dispatch, field mapping, rock chip and soil sampling programs.

Rig Geologist on-rig geological supervision across RC,



diamond, aircore and RAB drilling programs, managing logging, sampling and data capture.

Project Geologist technical leadership of field programs, coordinating drilling campaigns, managing geological databases, QA/QC frameworks and technical reporting to client exploration managers.

Essential criteria (all roles)

- Tertiary qualification in Geology (Bachelor’s degree or higher)
- Minimum one year post-graduate experience in mineral exploration or mine geology
- Demonstrated competence in logging and sampling across common drilling methods (RC, diamond, aircore)
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures for sampling and data capture
- Proficiency with industry-standard geological software (e.g. Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine or acQuire)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Right to work in Australia (visa holders welcome to apply)
- Willingness and fitness to work on remote rosters

Desirable

- Exposure to gold, base metals or critical minerals exploration in WA
- Experience in both greenfields and brownfields program environments
- Prior rig supervision or field crew mentoring experience
- Familiarity with WA tenement and regulatory frameworks
