We're a family-owned landscape maintenance business with a strong client base and a reputation for reliable, high-quality service. We're looking for a hands-on Garden Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team in a permanent full-time position.

This isn't just another labouring role. We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted part of the business. You'll start by working alongside the owner, learning our systems, client expectations, and maintenance standards. As your skills and confidence grow, you'll be trusted to complete jobs independently, manage your own maintenance run, and take ownership of your sites.

About the Role

You'll be supporting both commercial and residential maintenance jobs, including:

- Mowing and edging
- Whipper snipping
- Hedging and pruning
- Spraying and weed control
- General garden clean-ups
- Basic site preparation and tidy-ups
- Property presentation work
- Working independently on jobs once trained

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and prefers working independently. We're looking for a reliable person who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and enjoys managing jobs on their own.

Once trained, you'll spend much of your time working independently, maintaining sites to a high standard and representing the business professionally.

Requirements

- Current driver's licence
- Previous experience in landscaping,



mowing, gardening, or property maintenance
- Confident towing and reversing a trailer
- Physically fit and capable of outdoor work
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to represent the business professionally with clients
