Talent Success is hiring a Sheet Metal Apprentice for an established HVAC duct manufacturing business in Seven Hills, Western Sydney.
No previous sheet metal or HVAC experience is required.
You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, learning practical skills in sheet metal fabrication, HVAC duct manufacturing and workshop operations while working towards a nationally recognised trade qualification.
What You'll Learn
- HVAC duct fabrication and assembly
- Measuring, marking and cutting sheet metal
- Folding, riveting and assembling components
- Using hand and power tools
- Operating sheet metal machinery
- Reading basic workshop drawings and plans
- Manufacturing commercial air-conditioning and ventilation ductwork
- Protected workshop practices
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Working alongside experienced tradespeople
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and motivated
- Hands-on and willing to learn
- Mechanically minded
- Comfortable with physical/manual work
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- A team player
- Serious about building a long-term trade career
No previous sheet metal or HVAC experience is required.
Factory, workshop, construction, Trade Assistant or other hands-on experience will be highly regarded.
