The Retirement Catering Company has a casual position available for a qualified and experienced Chef or Cook to work at its Templestowe site every weekend starting Saturday 10/10/26, 8am-1pm on both days.

The succcessful candidate will need to have experience in a commercial kitchen, be able to work productively with a kitchen attendant, have a calm demeanor with our residents and have a positive attitude.

The food items to be prepared include Sunday roasts. The menus are changing weekly, and our kitchens are fully-equipped.

The successful candidate will be required to prepare two meals with minimal dietaries, and a dessert for between 20 - 40 customers daily. This is completed with the assistance of a kitchen attendant.



We need to stress that this is not an aged care position, no texture-modified or pureed food.

The successful candidate needs to provide a police check no older than 3 years, a food handling or food supervisor certificate and have at least a cert 3 in hospitality.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.62 – $47.39 per hour
