We are looking for enthusiastic, patient and reliable Primary School Tutors who enjoy working with children and are passionate about making learning engaging, meaningful and rewarding.

About the Role

You will provide individualised and small-group tutoring for students from Prep to Year 6, focusing on:

- English: Phonics, spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar and writing.
- Mathematics: Numeracy, arithmetic, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.
- Literacy & Numeracy Development: Strengthening fundamental skills and addressing learning gaps.
- Study Skills: Developing concentration, confidence, organisation and independent learning habits.
- School Support: Assisting students with classroom learning and assessment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate tutoring sessions.
- Identify individual learning strengths and areas requiring improvement.
- Explain concepts clearly through practical and interactive teaching approaches.
- Create a positive, encouraging and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate professionally with the centre's management team and, where appropriate, parents.

About You





We would love to hear from candidates who demonstrate:

- Strong English and/or Mathematics knowledge at the primary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity and enthusiasm when working with young children.
- A genuine interest in primary education and children's development.
- Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum (highly regarded).
- Strong organisational skills, reliability and professionalism.
- A valid Queensland Blue Card or appropriate exemption card before commencing regulated work.

Education students, university students, recent graduates, qualified teachers and experienced tutors are all welcome to apply.

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is desirable but not essential. We value the ability to connect with students and explain concepts effectively.
