We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a construction and fabrication team in Gladesville, NSW. This opportunity is suited to a qualified and reliable tradesperson with strong fabrication and welding experience who can work safely and efficiently in a busy site environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, or Welder
- Relevant boilermaking or metal fabrication qualification is preferred
- Strong experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling steel components
- Valid White Card
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport to Gladesville
- Available to start ASAP

Duties Include

- Fabricating and assembling steel and metal structures
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and preparing materials
- Performing welding and fabrication work to required specifications
- Fitting and assembling structural and fabricated components
- Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy




- Using workshop and fabrication equipment safely
- Performing repairs and modifications where required
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
- Following WHS procedures and site safety requirements
